Man able to eat iron nails and glass

 Man eats nails .!

Why did you choose this topic:
I choose this topic because I was always curious about the ways people are able to digest food. to elaborate , everyone has the same organs , but everyone is slightly different from another and probably has a slightly different ways in which they break down food. At first I was thinking about the digestion of sugar and peoples metabolism however this article i found was very astonishing. It makes me rethink.

2.  How does it relate to what we have learned about the digestive system?:

It relates to the digestive system as it someone actually physically eating something which will go into the digestive tract and being digested. In glass we learned that the the body breaks down food into monomers for digestion this man is able to breakdown iron into monomers a average stomach shouldn't  be able to do that.

3. My question is what depicts a stronger stomach more hydroelectric acid? if so does he have a special stomach with a stronger lining? was it something he was born with or happened throughout his life.

Mondays Exercise

Today with the class I ran the intervolt pond run. One miniute on and off. My intensity level was a four out of five During the workout I could feel the burn in my legs as well as I was sweaty and uncomfortably hot.  I exercised for about 28 minutes with a distance of 4.62KM
For the next pond run my goal is to run faster with more distance when I am sprinting. This will cause more burn but I can do it  I want to see a higher lactic said threshold.

Create a protin structure

Primary
Secondary
Tertiary
Quaternary

Questions:
1. The type of bond that is found in the primary structure is polypeptide it`s
a sequence of ameino acids with a minimum of 50 with a selection of 20 different acids . The peptide bonds are polar making one side negative and the other positive.

2.The secondary structure forms a alpha helix due to the polar  peptide bonds. the positive side is trying to attract to the negative side , forming a spiral shape.

3. The tertiary  structure  is formed from the reaction of R groups , whether they be covaylant , hydorgin bonds or repulsion. It changed there shape making it look like a 3D structure

4. The Quaternary structure is created when two or more polypeptides stick together through bonds creating a protein.

5. The protein would be completely rearranged if the primary structure was to be altered with. For one , the amino acids would react to each other differently.  if in a sequence P and Y attracted and was changed to P and A and detracted from each other you would get a different  as well  other Polypeptides will stick together with other polypeptides which will make a different protein.

6.  and

the amino acid structure has amino group ( left ) and a carboxylic acid (right). The Difference between their R groups is what makes them variant. Lucine is more coomple where serine has CH2 and OH.

Colon cancer surgery repost

After watching the video I was  amazed how surgery helps people who are sick. For the people preforming the surgery It would take a very steady hand and someone for the stomach for it .Watching what a real organ looks like pink and gushy , its a little uneasy ; however for a patient it
life or death.I was surprised by the inflation of the stomach , I did not know that its a part of the procedure to  add carbon dioxide gas. The interesting parts was seeing what a colon actually looks like and that there was fat surrounding it  What amazes me is  the fact that these videos are real and are actually real  , this information can actual help people understand about colon cancers. I was also able to relate to the video's material as we have already took notes on the large intestine and was able to identify that the colon was apart of the large intestine. Wile they where taking out the colon I noticed parts which would suggest Colon /large intestine.

What I can take out of this is more knowledge and awareness.  I think it's important to know how our body's function. I remember having a conversation with someone and I can recall them not knowing what the functions of the small and large intestine was. I could enplane to her how they function a lot better than from the learning in this class , but websites like this  are good because not everyone knows , takes biology and may forget things over time. This website can interest people to learn and be aware about there body.

End of surgery :

    5 Week exercise plan

    Exercise Science Exercise Plan

    (Regular version)

My 5 week exercise plan is focused mainly on core and leg strength; however it is not limited to those focuses areas. I also Work on flexibility and General muscular endurance, strength and cardio to establish a balanced body.  I switch up my days, keeping weeks a little different so I do not adjust to one particular way. I will record a mini fins test before the third week and the after the 6th week to see if my workout is effective towards my goals. My fitness testing will be based on a wall sit, plank and sprinting until exhaustion.  Both the wall sit and plank will be evaluated by time and my sprint by time and heart rate (which should be near max / zone 5).I customized my plan to suite my needs in regards to my lifestyle of attending -school, work and other outer activity’s.
    (My guidelines)
To meet my goals I have designed a plan were in a seven day week three of the days are vigorous intense, two are  moderate light workouts  and last two break days which still include stretching ( 10 minute minimum.)For vigorous workouts I plan to do both on and .off for a longer period of time as well as continuous for short period of time. Exercises such as
    • Hill runs
    • Nike fit training app]
    • Stair climbing ( fast pace)
    • Bikes (gym )

For mild to light exercising I plan on going on jogs, doing light weights with rep and core activity’s which can be used overly repeated Exercises such as :
    • Jogs
    • Elliptical at the gym
    • Bikes (gym)
    • Nike fit app
    • Swimming

    Light/Break:
I can focus on stretching. I own a book full of stretches and I will complete an assortment of them as well as prior and post workouts.

    Joint and mussel pain

Dengue Fever is a virus initially caused by mosquitoes. Some people refer it to "break bone fever" as people infected with this virus experience extreme joint and muscle pain. The signs to  Dengue fever are: severe all of a sudden headaches as well as  fevers , pain behind the eyes, eye movement becomes  painful and the most predominant joint and mussel pain. Although It is typically not fatal about 25,000 people die from Dengue Fever infecting  50 to 528 million people worldwide a year. At this moment there is no treatment but staying away from mosquitoes.

       epidemic dengue and A. aegypti
      A. aegypti, without epidemic dengue
    Taken in 2006

Joint aces aren't only limited to this one particular virus or a negative reaction to your body from age or misuse ,but can be caused by other viruses , bacteria and even parasites. For instance parasites have the ability to travel through almost any soft tissue , if they can find there way into joints they can cause damage and produce toxins which harm the body. It has been known that in some cases parasites  have been mistaken for arthritis. The symptoms are alike  and arthritics is more common , but time should tell weather a person has it or not. General symptoms of  joint / muscle parasites are:Muscle Pain ,Joint Pain ,Muscle Cramping ,Numbness of the Hands and/or Feet , Heart Pain ,Pain in The Navel , Pain in the Back, Thighs or Shoulders,Arthritic Pains Fast Heartbeat.

I chose this virus and because it symptoms relate to joints , a topic we are learning and I didn't think such a virus existed.  It goes to show that virus and bacteria don't only effect our temperature or make us have a upset stomach. As well I think its interesting to know that such small organisms can cause a person harm and this is just one of them .

    Run

    The lung

    questions:

    2. Real live lungs are different than the model because  one there is no bronchi , bronchiolis or avoli in the demonstration. 2 . the size of the thoracic cavity and the lung is disproportionate. As well two lungs are contained in the thoracic cavity. 3. there is no intercontinental mussels shown.

    3. The general mechanism of the lungs is displayed in this model as it expresses the fact that air does not get blown into our lungs , but it is the diaphragms movements. When the diaphragm is contracting air is being blown out of our lungs due to less space when the diaphragm is expanding air goes into the lungs due to more space.
